Dining with the Queen.

Which queen?

The Queen - we have a queen?

You mean the Queen of England?

Or is it the rock band?

Well, it is our own Permaisuri Agung.

She is OUR Queen.

Yup. Unbelievable isn't it - we are dining with her tomorrow.

So much preparation and hype and yet it is only just sinking in.

Scary..the protocol involved. So many rules and regulations. So many things we didn't know.

Skirts must be 3 inches below the knees. What happens if you are naturally short?

No trousers or long pants allowed. No reason given.

Nothing mentioned about showing wrists, elbow, arms or shoulders.

No wearing anything yellow.

Are we supposed to look down as respect?

Curtsy or bow?

Are we supposed to eat at her pace, slower than her or...

What if she gets up off her chair. Are we expected to stand too?

So many questions but vague answers like " o you know the usual thing.."

But I don't know. I have never dined with royalty.
