Amazing what a day off work can do for me.
I managed to finish marking 3 piles of books, check minutes for meetings and finish 2 novels. I can't wait to actually get into the third in the trilogy. It's so absorbing. The world just disappears when I'm reading. If only more ppl had this passion.
Also got to take my kids to school - something I hadn't done for a long while. It's very satisfying getting a hug before they trek into school with smug smiles on their faces. Will take them out to McDs later for lunch - what fun. Then go grocery. Ah the simple pleasures of life.
Someone asked me what I wanted for my upcoming birthday just as I fell in love with the new BMW Z4. Think I stand a chance?
