Outstanding!
To all the girls who put up such a great show today - KUDOS!
We had 20 mins to put on a skit based on the Form 4 & 5 Literature texts and only 10 mins to perform. What with so much detail in every story, it was an almost impossible task to accomplish but we did it. From SA to KB, we did it. Now you know why English is a niche area.
It was a lot tougher than it looked cos although only 15 ppl were involved, the smallest class had only 14 ppl - so they had to borrow some stand-ins. But Sri Aman being ever cluster - we are so good at improvising. And so much effort was put into the making of props. Wonderful.
I can't believe we won - but more importantly to me is that everyone had fun. We practiced and practiced unlike 5SB. And they were fierce opponents. I think we won only based on technicality. But my girls were spectacular. They portrayed maturity even though they fooled around in class, they were professional - they had a goal - to have fun. And time was short - so we made do. You just have to look at our wall and the scorpion/bug. LOL. What a day!
So to those who didn't make top three, don't fret - I hope you will remember this fun time in your final year at Sri Aman. Maybe all the fifth formers should open their hampers together at recess and share all of it. That would be comradeship in its ideal.
